Application Guidelines
- Prepare the site and cracks. Establish the required access controls and remove loose material, vegetation and dust. Cracks must be clean and dry.
- Set up the machine. Follow the operator manual for equipment checks, gas connection, loading and lighting.
- Heat and agitate. Monitor the thermometer and follow the sealant manufacturer’s heating and application limits.
- Apply and finish. Use the flow control and finishing shoe to place sealant along the prepared crack.
- Allow to cool. Reopen the area only when the material and site conditions permit.
- Shut down correctly. Follow the manual’s draining, shutdown and maintenance instructions.
For outdoor use with direct-fire-compatible sealant. Operators must follow the machine manual, sealant instructions and site procedures.
